Right now the Bioware MMO is vaporware until proven otherwise. They've had many opportunities to at least announce the game, put up some screen shots, something. They have nothing out there but them being bought up by EA. EA being a publicity whore would have announced by now if they had something to announce. The same group that is running KOTOR MMO is the same group that ran SWG in the early days, so they are probably too busy redoing the game for the 18th time to take a few screen shots and post them on the web.

Yep, I signed into SWG.

I can't be sure of what my impression is. I'm quite confused, like the crazy wookiee that I am (ask Quinlin and Meryl how I drive for instance). I was most surprised when I was forbidden to use spatial chat too much, because I am on a free trial. At some point, it forbade me from using spatial chat for seven minutes!

Does anyone know where I can get a very cheap, decent joystick?

you could acquire a cheap logitech or something...

Personally I swear to CH Products myself, a posible alternative would be Saitek.

hmm and where to buy.. dunno look it up on google =)

LOL. You are kidding, you are required to pay so you can talk? SOE never learns do they?

It is an anti-spam measure enforced because spammers were(and still are) acquiring countless trial accounts in order to fill up spatial with useless ads to such a degree that it was causing extreme server lag.

Oh, well that kinda makes sense.

I actually tried hooking up my sidewinder with the dead trigger button (I'd simply use a keyboard button for that) and I was surprised to find out that Vista didn't support it. Does anyone here know if the cheap joysticks have compatibility issues?

And Vista came factory installed with this machine. As much as I don't particularly care for Vista, I don't want to try to get XP.

dunno I would assume it would be on the package if not.

also... a MS product not being supported by the MS Software... I am finding that unusual lol.

Microsoft not fully supporting their own products? That's unpossible! Big Grin

MS gave up on those joysticks years ago. They were the best to be had a decade ago though.

nope mep that was stil CH Tongue

I'll disaggree, the sidewinders were great sticks. The CH's were over priced so you have to take them down a notch for that.

the old CH sticks still works today, and probably would be as accurate in 10 years more time...

You pay the extra for quality
