Any SBR in San Diego area? - Brasidus - 10-22-2008
If so I will be in Poway Nov. 1&2nd for the World Invitational Joust. This year I will be helping Dr. Jeffrey Forgeng curator of the Higgins Armory Museum and academic consultant for The Higgins Swordplay Guild doing pollaxe and longsword demonstrations to his lectures.

Anyhoo, If anyone is in the area, it's a great even sponsored by the Royal Armouries in Leeds England. You won't see anything like this in the U.S. anywhere else, and it'd be great to get to see/meet some fellow SBRs even if I am incommunicado most of the time.
