SWG had some epic battles and epic lag. This looks more like a team CTF game, which is actually rather fun, not that the epic lag fest aren't.

ohh c'mon Arch those epic lag fests of 50 rebels trying to defend the base vs. 100 gimperials was epic , laggy and still hella fun times . It's the lag that made it interesting and frustrating . Kinda like virgin men an sex for the first time :bow:

Blizzard solved that problem by limiting the people in pvp. 8v8 is not really any fun. 25 vs 25 or something would be better.
This game still looks like it was made 8 years ago...
but shooting cannons at a nearby starship IS pretty damn cool...

8v8 pvp may not be the only form of pvp in swtor, they said there is more to come

I should hope so, because static instances are probably the most boring form of PVP I've ever done.
On top of which if video games like Battlefield can run 32v32 battles without lag problems (and not even on the best servers) then a game like TOR, where they're being paid millions a month should easily be able to.
