I'm curious as to how the companions will work out that they're going to be a set stat level. I'm wondering in a face they're trying to maybe get people to work together more when it comes to heroics and things since you can solo a lot of them with just companion.

Perhaps a tie-in to future open-world PvP, so that people don't bring their companions in high-level WZ gear?

A guy can hope...

Companion gear is now your gear, so all my companions will be in high level pvp gear!
