Just for Cillian |

Just for you Cillian for that final season of smallville as released via interviews with the smallville director :
Brian Peterson (executive producer):
* The Superman suit that will be used in Smallville is the EXACT SAME suit used in Superman Returns â but slightly altered. (Brian Peterson recalled his excitement about finally receiving the Superman Returns suit from Warner Bros.)
* Lex Luthor will return to Smallville WITH or WITHOUT Michael Rosenbaum. The studio, networks and producers have opened their doors to get him to return, but there is no word, as of yet. They wanted Rosenbaum as Lex for the premiere, but couldnât make it happen.
* Clark will fly! When I asked him about whether weâd get the âSuperman momentâ (where Clark rips open his shirt, donâs the suit and flyâs off), he fumbled for an answer and then finally said, âWe have our own take on what we want to happen.â â yeah, I donât know what that means either.
* Alice Mackâs final stint as Chloe Sullivan will be spaced throughout the entire season. They want to use her as much as possible. (Hopefully, that means she wonât be killed off.)
John Schneider (Johnathan Kent):
* Jonathan Kent (John Schneider) will return for the season premiere.
* Clark and Jonathan will be working together on the Kentâs farm. Jonathan will warn Clark that something dark is coming (Darkseid) and then proclaim that âOne day, you will become the greatest hero that the world will ever know. (Schneider also inadvertently showed his drivers license to the entire audience in Ballroom 20 and is curious to see how many people will be camped out on his lawn.)
Erica Durance (Lois Lane):
* While Lois Lane knows that Clark is the red-blue-blur, Clark still believes that his identity remains a secret to her.
* When I asked Durance if (like usual) there will be some kind of villain-of-the-week that shows up and wipes Loisâs memory â and the knowledge of who Clark truly is â she responded by saying, âI hope not!â
Cassidy Freeman (Tess Mercer):
* Granny Goodness was the elderly woman outside of Tess Mercerâs hospital room in the ninth season finale. Tess has some connection to her, but Freeman hasnât been told what that connection is yet.
Justin Hartley (Oliver Queen/Green Arrow):
Comic-Con: Interviews With The Cast & Producers Of Smallville
* Regarding a Green Arrow spin-off: âI donât know, I guess anything is possible. I think it would work â weâll see. I havenât been approached, though. So, weâll see what happens.â
* Hartley will direct an episode
this season (last year, he wrote the episode âSacrificeâ).
* As far as he knows, Black Canary will NOT be coming back for the final season.
* Hartley would like to see Oliver Queen be âat peaceâ and âcomfortable in his own skinâ when Smallville comes to an end. He also noted that he hopes that doesnât come until the end of the season â and not in the middle â because nobody wants to see someone thatâs âvanilla.â
* Hartley hopes to steal the Green Arrow costume after Smallville is over since he hasnât been able to gain any weight while playing Oliver Queen/Green Arrow.
Unfortunately, since I was in the middle of interviews with the cast of Supernatural at the time, I was unable able to see the video shown during the panel.
While I was upset at first that I wasnât able to see the Superman suit, once I found out that it was the suit from Superman Returns, I figured I could just rewatch that â or not (that movie was pretty terrible).
As we get closer to the September 24th premiere of Smallville season 10, thereâs no doubt that more information will be released. When that happens, you can be sure that Screen Rant will be on top of it.
You can catch the tenth season premiere of Smallville, September 24 @8pm on The CW.

So, out of curiosity, was the Tie Defender part of the expanded universe, other than the video games?
Lego recently came out with one, so I was wondering what the inspiration was. Since it brought back so many fond memories of playing Tie Fighter, and since I could pay for it with an hour and a half of overtime with my new job (...and she gets a 30% discount...), the wife let me get it! =D I'm happy.
Now I need to talk her into letting me get a rebel fighter. Unfortunately they are more pricey, and the cheapest is a yellow Y-Wing (not my favorite...).

More rewards and perks coming soon.
From the poll on the forums the majority of players want consequences that are both good and bad.
While we want the impact of the GCW felt throughout the game we don't want it to be a barrier.

Everyone,
Someone has tried to take over the city today. Frankly I am surprised it took this long... Someone named Odwan has put his name in for Mayor. I have challenged them and with my alts I will most likely win. Hell, a level 1 city is only five people anyway. Their guild name is JEDI, and they say that they have already talked to me about taking over the city. I do not remember this conversation, but other than that they seem to want to keep the name and everything associated with it. They have also offered 50 million credits for our city since I haven't logged on and they probably think I am ignoring them. Heh.
If I do give them access, the first thing they will probably do is rename it and kick me out. Thus ending CH's five or so year run.
I leave this to all of you who ever called CH home. My vote is to send them packing, but that is just because I am selfish. Maybe they will actually bring activity back to that little corner of Dantooine. We sure as heck aren't.
So... What do I tell them?

Quote:Ever since we heard that Star Wars: The Old Republic was going to include space combat as one of its features, we've felt a bit like Red Squadron in A New Hope -- "standing by." It almost seemed too good to be true, especially since the rumor came out that the space portion of the game would be an on-rails shooter.
It's with great glee, then, that we have received more news on TOR's space combat in the upcoming October issue of PC Gamer. The seven-page spread confirms that the space combat won't be a free-form flight simulator like X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, but instead will be a "tunnel shooter" designed to create highly cinematic battle sequences for players to experience. Space combat hotspots will be unlocked as players progress through the game, and while they'll initially be solo instances only, eventually BioWare hopes to implement PvP and team combat in the future.
In a tunnel shooter, players will be able to move ships up, down, left and right, although their overall course is locked in by the scenario in question. Ship collision, rotating quest objectives, customizable ship cosmetics, achievements, various difficulty levels and incentives to repeat missions also seem to be a go for this portion of the game. While a lot of the details are still hidden from our prying eyes, we're sure that BioWare will have a lot more to say on this in the near future.

This is so fail it makes Nis trying to dodge one of JC's bombs seem successful.

I have been lurking the forums for some time, and have been debating whether or not I want to play TOR. And if I do (probably will), would I want to play along side SBR?
I know that the game still has another year before release, but now should be the time for recruiting people. Before I stop there, I should note that I do know the risks of pre-recruiting. But to advertise a Republic guild that is mature 18+ casual/hardcore (or whatever the case may be) isn't that hard to do. A year atleast gives you time to weave out the bad eggs, get to know the good, and those who stay active on the boards within that time - would obviously be around during the game. And I have seen none of this. (not bashing, just saying) SBR could throw their name out there every once in a great while.
Basically, right now I would like to know who intends on really playing TOR.
What your class/profession is going to be, if you do intend to play.
What the guild as a whole intends on focusing on. (ie PvP/PvE/End Game)
And it's not that I don't intend on playing with you guys, but since playing LOTRO, and being part of one of the most notorious hardcore/raiding guilds between all of the servers, I've become more focused on end game content in the MMO aspect. That and playing Sith.. might have a toll. I really haven't decided yet.
If I do end up playing for the Republic, I'll most likely play as an off-tank Jedi Knight type, or strictly healing/force wielding Jedi Counselor.
