For those who know or thought they knew about Canada . this ones for all .

Oh Canada

TOP REASONS TO LIVE IN BRITISH COLUMBIA

1. Vancouver: 1.5 million people and two bridges. You do the math.

2. Your $400,000 Vancouver home is just 5 hours from downtown.

3. You can throw a rock and hit three Starbucks locations.

4. There's always some sort of deforestation protest going on.

5. Weed.

TOP REASONS TO LIVE IN ALBERTA

1. Big rock between you and B.C.

2. Ottawa who?

3. Tax is 5% instead of the approximately 200% it is for the rest of the country.

4. You can exploit almost any natural resource you can think of.

5. You live in the only province that could actually afford to be its own country.

6. The Americans below you are all in anti-government militia groups.

TOP REASONS TO LIVE IN SASKATCHEWAN

1. You never run out of wheat.

2. Your province is really easy to draw.

3. You can watch the dog run away from home for hours.

4. People will assume you live on a farm.

TOP REASONS TO LIVE IN MANITOBA

1. You wake up one morning to find that you suddenly have a beachfront property.

2. Hundreds of huge, horribly frigid lakes.

3. Nothing compares to a wicked Winnipeg winter.

4. You can be an Easterner or a Westerner depending on your mood.

5. You can pass the time watching trucks and barns float by.

TOP REASONS TO LIVE IN ONTARIO

1. You live in the centre of the universe.

2. Your $400,000 Toronto home is actually a dump.

3. You and you alone decide who will win the federal election.

4. The only province with hard-core American-style crime.

TOP REASONS TO LIVE IN QUEBEC

1. Racism is socially acceptable.

2. You can take bets with your friends on which English neighbour will move out next.

3. Other provinces basically bribe you to stay in Canada.

4. You can blame all your problems on the 'Anglo *#!%!'

TOP REASONS TO LIVE IN NEW BRUNSWICK

1. One way or another, the government gets 98% of your income.

2. You're poor, but not as poor as the Newfies.

3. No one ever blames anything on New Brunswick .

4. Everybody has a grandfather who runs a lighthouse.

TOP REASONS TO LIVE IN NOVA SCOTIA

1. Everyone can play the fiddle. The ones who can't, think they can.

2. You can pretend to have Scottish heritage as an excuse to get drunk and wear a kilt.

3. You are the only reason Anne Murray makes money.

TOP REASONS TO LIVE IN PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND

1. Even though more people live on Vancouver Island, you still got the big, new bridge.

2. You can walk across the province in half an hour.

3. You can drive across the province in two minutes.

4. Everyone has been an extra on 'Road to Avonlea.'

5. This is where all those tiny, red potatoes come from.

6. You can confuse ships by turning your porch lights on and off at night.

TOP REASONS TO LIVE IN NEWFOUNDLAND

1. If Quebec separates, you will float off to sea.

2. If you do something stupid, you have a built-in excuse.

3. The workday is about two hours long.

4. It is socially acceptable to wear your hip waders to your wedding.

  Space PvP Events.
Posted by: QuorTek - 01-15-2009, 01:17 AM - Forum: Star Wars Galaxies - Replies (3)

They have changed by alot, less drama and more coordination, voice chat such as vent is used alot and they are way better organized now, saw NiFi post something about not wanting to goto events, but I can say they are much more interesting now a day than what you remember them for.

So thinking you should try it out again I would need to outfit you with one of them new nova engines though first.

Also for everyone else, looking to re-create our squad in some sort of way those who has interest in getting into the more serious part of it, talk to me about it in game, can show you how little is needed actually to be successfull if you got a keen eye for how things run in general.

What are you looking for in game?
Posted by: Mikee - 01-14-2009, 01:47 PM - Forum: Star Wars Galaxies - Replies (10)

With so many new faces (or names at least, I still have no clue who is alts of who), I'd like to start a thread where people can share their current priorities in game, in the hopes of getting some more activity going. I guess I'll go ahead and start.

1. First and foremost I need to finish the heroics for Sillock's General's jewelry set. This will make him much more of an asset to a group for instances, and #2.

2. PvP - I don't see this as much of an issue since the FCTS, Restuss will most likely be packed for the next few weeks/months and pickup groups will be easy to find.

3. Finishing space collections. I taught myself last night how to solo a vette with no missiles in my Vak, now to see if I can do it in my A-Wing, and without the extra benefit of being neutral.

4. Slayer collections. If there's nothing going on, it'd be cool if whoever is on can group just for the purpose of increasing spawn sizes for anyone doing the ground collections.

5. Reverse engineering. Eekim is finishing my last two crates of armor belts, then speccing domestics to burn up some crates of shirts, then finally speccing engineer. I'll be happy to provide attachments for those who need them, but please keep in mind the massive amount of junk loot needed to do this. I have vendors in Revenance, Lok for anyone that wishes to donate. I also try to stay on top of good mining spawns, please let me know if anything is needed for guild crafting, whether in shift or on my resource vendor - I'll happily pull it from sale if the guild needs it.

Thanks for reading and hopefully adding to the thread.

Looking to Rebuild a Pilot Squad.
Posted by: QuorTek - 01-11-2009, 12:37 PM - Forum: Star Wars Galaxies - Replies (15)

I don't got much to say really, so well looking for some pilots that know how to handle stuff for real.

This is about fast paced space PvP and loadouts in general, and specific looking for Heavy Starter pilots, such as Heavy Scyk/Z95, but various N-1 PIlots and Awing pilots is also wellcome and POB specialists.

I only got one rule we only fight the imperials, not same faction at ANY cost due to guild rules.

Trial/introduction would be needed, over time I would be spending some of my parts on building your guys ships once being incarnated into the guild I am in and has shown alot of loyality, will help as long as the help is given back as well in other various tasks.

I hope to hear from posible prospects with skills.

Regards.

QuorTek SsussunOlath

Note:

We don't want morons and extreme egocentric personalities, but people willing to do an effort for the team, if you RP its ok you can be here as well.. such as if you don't you are wellcome as well we are all around in SBR, but high focus on Return with Honor kind of idealogy.
