Aww Kirby wants to know about healing....part of me is extremely scared now. Not cause I know you can do it, but that the smuggler in you would prevent you from doing it just to be a smart alec once in a while.

As far as I know Smugglers, Troopers (depending on spec), and Counselors have healing abilities for the group. I have heard that the Jedi Knight and the Sith equivalent currently have only minimal self healing abilities.
The thing Bioware has stated is that they are still doing tweaks on classes and what they expect from them. So this may change or stay the same...who knows?

There should be other spec trees for smuggler, so you don't have to be a healer Kir.
