Just being honest George Lucas is an idiot and you know it too, as for the books it is not of the original fiction.

Like I said I said it should only be available to the Sith Emperor and NOBODY else, I don't approve of the idea of it being looted by another player, but it seems to me this Darksaber was made with Sith alchemy that was used during the Hyperspace war which would make sense for him to use it and only him.

You can't emit black enough said, you can make the effect in photoshop in 3D, but you can alter reality that way, but it would never work in reality.

By the way this is not personal in anyway, but my policy against the idea, it is not my fault that George Lucas has corrupted his own mind as it is with stuff like this.

Well the way I see it is that the Darksaber is based off the blackhole, how it is able to trap light, as you see in the concept of the Darksaber how it is being manipulated by the white ore particles surrounding the black beam. And the only way it should be allowed in SWTOR is if the Sith Emperor is the only one who can use it, it could be an old relic from the Great Hyperspace War for all we know.

Uh..... You do realize that you can't actually see a black hole right?

I'm aware of that yes, but it does pull in light which is a logical explaination to this theory

A "light"saber made out of a black hole? Time to start working out, a lot.

You can't hold that... a black hole is just a gravity field that is strong enough to pull in even lightwaves to its center, you would not be able to wield such a power as it could consume the entire planet in a split second.

It pulls everything in... including starships...

The logic works though but not working in enviroment as it would be total apocalypse and end of the world.

An this is why Star wars keeps sucking with every new dumb idea such as a black saber ....

I think you guys are taking this a bit too serious.

*Fanboy rant starting. What you should be focusing on is Lucas and his complete and utter lack of respect for the EU. There was already an established Mandalorian culture (that I didn't care for mind you) and he just slapped it down with his big fat hand. I know it's his universe, but if he hires Sue Rostini to make sure that canon is followed and then Karen Traviss to write it, why in the nine hells would he just override that? It's just plain direspectful. Plus it doesnt make any sense. The more I think on this, the more I think he only cares about the money.*End fanboy rant.

::Sigh:: Yet another of my childhood assumptions destroyed.
