Well, the way I've taken it all in, is that they pretty much did the entire series, condensed it down to 2 hours into the movie, and did the very first part of the original Transformers movie at the very end.. Minus all the Generation 2 pansies. So, if they were to go through from there, the next step would have to be Unicron rebuilding Megatron into Galvatron. Because you can't have Starscream as the main bad guy in a Transformers movie. That would just suck. Ya gotta have a version of Megatron, because he is the ultimate robot pain-in-the-ass.

Or they can break from cannon and do whatever they feel like, which is most likely the scenario. I bet they stick with generation 1 and add in about 50% brand new characters so they can push out more toys. It's Michael Bay, the point is to make money, not deliver a true to cannon story or even a good story.

You do know that Bay even said in an interview not to take this movie serious, the only thing it had in common with the original Transformers was the character names.

That and they used Peter Cullen as Optimus

That too hehe, I know I loved the movie, I'v seen it 3 times already, took Cillian to see it this past Monday, he seemed to enjoy it alot too, mainly because he kept an open mind on it (hint hint) :vespa:

LOL god no, I'm hinting that if your gonna rip on the movie, maybe you should'v kept an open mind and realized that it wasn't supposed to be like the original series
