The Force Unleased is coming to the Wii

#1
It appears that the Force Unleashed will be coming to the Wii afterall, and being able to duel with lightsabers using the Wii remote sounds like it will be fun. It was only a matter of time before they released a game that gives you the ability to use the remote like a lightsaber.

Heh, if I could be convinced that the wii controller + the game could really simulate the feel of a blade I would then have to get them both.

that would be fun *cracks knuckles*

Really. That Wii mote had better feel like a "Real Lightsaber" as opposed to a "Fake Lightsaber". :mep:

And thats why I said "blade" swordwork is something I know a bit about. :vespa:

I didn't mean the controller so much as the sotware. It's really annoying to be a "jedi" thay can't do basic sword moves. If the combination of the wii and the game would allow for real free form swordwork Im in.

Ahh yeah, I can see the animation being limited in a stupid way.

according to the article...the wii mote will act as the saber and the nunchuck will do force powers *shrugs* sounds ok if they do it right since its being done exclusivly by LA

Me too Tongue (well, not so much with a "blade" in my case, just kendo)

I was under the impression that they were making a special controller just for this game? Weren't they going to make an actual lightsaber handle facsimille?

They are creatures with close ties to nature, and a great affinity in their own way, for the Force." Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi, on Wookiees. (Star Wars: A New Hope Audio Drama)

The technology is there, I dont think it will be a special controller. Most likely something that goes over the wii mote.

Actually the XSux 3Shitty and PoS3 versions are done by LA. They are handing out the other versions (including Wii) to some other company to port.
