Starship comparison

#1
This is one of the better Sci-Fi ship comparisons I have seen even if they do gloss over the Death Star.

Hah, I can't believe they put in the ship from Galaxy Quest.

They are creatures with close ties to nature, and a great affinity in their own way, for the Force." Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi, on Wookiees. (Star Wars: A New Hope Audio Drama)

Meh the description for Death Star 2 is the same as Death Star 1 which is incorrect

DS2 was not from episode 4 and was not built by Darth Sidious. Even in Episode 4 he was Emperor.

SHIP NAME/TYPE: Death Star II/ Mobile Command Base

DIAMETER: 160km (official size, see http://www.theforce.net/swtc/ds/ for an alternate size theory and discussion.)

BUILDER/COMMENTS: The Empire under Darth Sidious (human). Incorporated into the base is a laser-type weapon capable of destroying an entire Earth sized planet.

SOURCE: Star Wars, Episode VI (Film)

And its not a base its a...wait for it....

SPACE STATION!!

Erm.. Um.. Yeah.. That whole 'Executor' class SSD size thing. What the Hell? Did they just roll a stack of dice to come up with that number? The size was roughly 8,000 meters in length. AKA 5x the length of a standard Star Destroyer.
