The other election...

So I was in Sarasota this past week helping my dad leading into his election for Sarasota County Commissioner. The bad news first...he lost (3rd party in a VERY partisan vote...ouch.) However, out of 120,000 votes, he garnered just short of 12,000 before absentees are counted. That turned some heads. So while he may have lost the battle, the GOP committees in Florida have taken notice, and he got more than a few phone calls Wednesday morning. So the war may yet be won :-D

10% isn't bad for a 3rd party canidate. He may not have a job but he can feel proud of that result.
