For a film about world war 1 , and the role canada played a part of . This wasn't too bad . I'd recomend watching it from a purely historical standpoint . Well done Canada . It's also refreashing to see a movie can be made and released without the hype and glamour of hollywood .

Yes it's true they called Canadian soilders storm troopers because we were a unstopable force, I wonder if they named storm troopers after us? LOL

Even though the germans were really saying Shock Troopers but it sounded more like Storm troopers from what I understand, anyways I bought Passchendaele on DVD the other day it was quite an interesting movie it's about time a Canadian war film has been released on a international platform

Canada should market itself more . Another really good war movie for canada would be one showcasing wwII normady at Juno beach . Or on thier ill fated dieppe raid .

Those were some major gustsy moments worthy of being mentioned .

most of Hollywood is bs anyway.. but at times they are making something that actually is good.

As it is I like Asian Movie Culture the best.. and various others.

But we love the hype and glamor hollywood brings. It's called culture.

And umm, Canadians kicking ass? Lies I tell you lies! When you want the truth, go see a hollywood flick, unless of course, you can't handle the truth! :mep:

That's the none believers for ya. Canada gained quite the rep during both World Wars, Germans were throwing their guns down at the sight of our troops, that's how feared we were. Of course the Americans believe they did it all <_<

Even the British said the Canadian soilders were the most dedicated and superior force in the world wars

Also, just as a funny side note, Call of Duty 3 allows you to play as Canadians in the campaign. Unfortunately, though, CoD 3 sucked
