Ah the young......Actually if you want to be technical....it goes WAY back to the Original Star Wars sim on AOL. Before the EDF there was the New Republic Armed Forces, which was when I moved the old Rebel Alliance to Flashpoint. The Rebel Alliance was the orginal sim along with The Empire and Smugglers Alliance. For those of you history buffs, Ghent was a RA leader, which is where we first got to know eachother, and he jumped ship to the SA and helped build up that organization. I was the last remaining Fleet Commander in the Alliance after its fall, comanding the 5th Fleet. With the last survivors of the Rebel Alliance I built that force for a year or so and then we went to Flashpoint, where after that year of rebuilding I had formed a bad ass force once more known as the NRAF. Of course the Jedi and some Politicians of the NRAF turned on us and wanted more power. I lead another revolt and took the group into the Elrood Sector, which was recently won over to the NRAF Sim. After leading a sucessful break from the NR, I began the Elrood Federation, which the EDF was part of.....and so on...
There is your history lesson of the day....
The LSF has never been part of Flashpoint, and shouldn't be considered as such. Ghent asked me to join LSF when it first began, and at the time I was the leader of the EDF, so I recruited heavly from my group for LSF. Once I got the chance to form Saber Wing, I brough in those people from the EDF like Sonic, along with a large list of LSF alliance members which at the time I massed emailed and got response on some of you who wanted to still be part of LSF. People like Archangel, who became my 2nd in command and Vanor.
