Hey all, I know most of you are still playing TOR, but was curious as to whether anyone else was thinking of trying The Secret World which releases on July 3? Syn and I are playing it right now, and are actually considering getting the lifetime sub, which we've never ever done before, but we think this game warrants it.. So, if anyone else tries it out, give me a shout, and i'll get your our ingame character names. We're Templar faction... death to the Illumnati, and Dragon!

lol mep! I'll be playing this game for quite some time, I assure you It's far different than anything on the market right now, and I love puzzles, and mysteries, and this is chock full of that so.. yeah.. And I prefer classless skill based systems, like SWG pre-cu, which this game also is..

Why shouldn't you be playing an MMO anyways?

Cause I need to be productive. It's very tempting for sure. Looks like guild wars with the whole, choose your 7 skills thing, which isn't bad, but not exactly SWG, which is fine.

Is the pre-order pet any good?

The pet is good until you reach a certain amount of skill and ability points, and then it doesn't affect you anymore, but it makes a big difference in the first part of the game for sure. The big thing that is getting me in this game, is the sheer sense of atmosphere... I actually did a mission earlier today, that had me in an underground parking garage in NY, in the dark... with a headlamp.. and my pistols... I was actually creeped right the hell out... and the cutscene/storyline quality is on par with SWToR, if not better in some cases. To me it seems very much like Silent Hill, crossed with Beyond the Supernatural PnPRPG, with some guildwars due to the actives/passives set up. the amount of skills in the game is mind boggling. Oh and 3 faction pvp for the win.. That is all
