Hello again all,
Since this invasion thing is a weekly affair, I think it would be easier to just update one thread from now on. So keep checking this post for updated info.
For our sixth week of conquest I have chosen Hoth. It has a 2x bonus for GSF and Warzones. We do very well at both, so I expect we will place on the leaderboards once again. Since last week's simplification of just posting the dulfy link worked so well, I'm going to continue doing that from this point forward.

Aside from all of the easy bonuses this week, there is an imperial commander on Hoth. As a guild, we have become exceeding efficient at killing that guy. With our orbital support bonus, it should be even quicker than usual. Hopefully we can hit him multiple times this week, as the guild ship could use a few more rooms opened. So dress warm, and I'll see you all in game.
Oh, and let's not kill those tauntauns for once? The poor things can't catch a break.
Return with Honor.

Balmorra Invasion |

Balmorran Invasion? Invasion of Balmorra? I dunno, that title seems off. Anyway, we are on Balmorra this week. This planet should be far more suited to our playstyle than Oricon was. It focuses on specific flashpoints, as well as normal warzone points, and a lovely 2x on GSF missions. All of our new pilots should enjoy this one. Let's show Eclipse Squadron how it's done. As per the norm, the bonuses are listed below. Sort of.
I've noticed this week that there are some very specific conditions for points. Instead of trying to list them all here, I'm just going to be lazy and direct you to...

See? Objectives like defeating certain bosses in a flashpoint. I don't recall the other conquest weeks doing that before. Regardless, we should do quite well in the next few days. With the current competition I think we can place very high. Good luck Sabers, I'll see you in game.
Return with Honor.

My name is Visèrys, a very heavy player in GSF. (almost all I ever do.) I came over from The Shadowlands server to help slaughter the Imperial Scum on this server.
Hope to see you in the skies, soon, and often.

Sabers,
We are now invading Oricon. In hindsight this wasn't the best choice. Since I've already gotten a fair amount of flak for this I'd like to apologize. I just woken up from barely any sleep, and given the number of guilds already on Hoth I thought the competition there would burn us out. So I chose Oricon. We are barely in tenth now, and will probably have to put forth far more effort than Hoth would have required. The choice to change the planet has been removed, so we are stuck there. Which answers a lingering question some of the officers and myself had. What happened to a guild's point total when they moved? Now it's moot.
On the bright side, for those of you that like Operations, this is your planet. We have tentative plans set for Thursday night to run them. A final time will be determined soon.
As before, here are the bonuses for this planet
Oricon is all about the Operations.
Completing an operation in Group Finder gives 2000 points. In addition, each one of the operations below gives 2000 base points per person.
Operation: Scum and Villainy - 2000 points with 2x bonus
Operation: Terror from Beyond - 2000 points with 2x bonus
Operation: Dread Palace - 2000 points with 2x bonus
Operation: Dread Fortress - 2000 points with 2x bonus
Killing 250 NPC's on Oricon gives 2000 points once per Legacy
Doing the weekly "Emanations of Dread" - 1000 points with a 3x bonus
Now, the usual warzones and gsf matches will give standard points just without any bonuses. So I will be in my usual place killing imps.
As for the remaining conquests. I have decided that regardless of the urgency shown by others, I am waking up at my normal time. At which point I will invade a new planet. There will be about five hours or so where we will have not declared, but it will give me a good idea of what guilds are going where, and I won't be making decisions with a groggy head. Odds are I am going to pick GSF, warzone, and flashpoint oriented planets since we tend to do well with those. So, if we drop out of the top ten this week (and odds are that we will) don't hold it against me too hard. I'm human. Besides, a week off might do us some good. This stuff is exhausting.

*Bows*
Hail, Saberwing!
I have travelled from afar (London UK) to spend some of my evenings playing with our rebel compatriots across the pond. A 40 yr old musician, daddy & gamer, GSF has been my mainstay since launch. I was researching which US server to check out and heard from other (cough) 'well known' (cough couch) pilots that EH was the way to go, and that HOOORAY you guys actually have a decent, mature GSF themed guild WITH A NAME I CAN LIVE WITH!
I was with First Expeditionary Fleet for a while, as it's always fun to fly with Kessler and other friends. Unfortunately though, despite having some of the best and nicest Republic pilots, RP is the guild's main thing. I like my RP to be mostly in my head - and the target reticule! P-p-pew!!!
To cap it all, I've really enjoyed the standard of competition so far, lots of good pilots about and exciting matches. It is great to not know who's who yet, and to be a surprise to many
Anyhow, sign me up, give me a shout, send your co-ordinates and I'll lock lasers with the best of them.
Xen'xe
