Another week, another invasion.
Sorry it took so long to get this one posted. Today was busy.
So far we are currently in a strong third place for the planet. To keep that momentum going here are the bonuses. Remember, everything is increased by your housing bonus, but I will just list the base totals.
Warzones - Unranked Losses give you 500 points, and wins give 1000. These are repeatable. Ranked wins give 1000 as well. Also, every 100 kills you get in warzones grants 4000 points. Once per Legacy. Lastly, finishing the weekly pvp missions will grant 2000 a piece. So pvp your hearts out! Plenty of imps to kill. (Oh, how I love killing imps.)
Nar Shadda Heroics give 1500 each. These are repeatable once a day, per character.
Blood Money (Heroic 2+)
NPC: Jatta
Location: Nikto Sector – Alien Arms Bazaar (-3580, –3426)
Nar Shaddaa Blood Sport (Heroic 2+)
NPC: Terminal
Location: Red Light Sector – Concourse (3344, –3494)
Breaking down Shadow Town (Heroic 2+)
NPC: Terminal
Location: Red Light Sector – Concourse (3344, –3494)
Mandalorian Rage(Heroic 4+)
NPC: Terminal
Location: Lower Industrial Sector – Damrasch the Hutt’s Factory (-2185, 2874)
Lab Animals (Bonus Heroic 4+)
NPC: Greggo
Location: Lower Industrial Sector – Worker’s Quarters (-1651, 2848)
Hired Guns (Bonus Heroic 2+)
NPC: Harrum
Location: Lower Industrial Sector – Worker’s Quarters (-1610, 2873)
Shadow Extraction (Bonus Heroic 4+)
NPC: Jax
Location: Lower Industrial Sector – High Security Lockdown (2015, 3353)
The Morgukai (Bonus Heroic 2+)
NPC: Tythan
Location: Lower Industrial Sector – High Security Lockdown – Alien Outreach Center (2028, 3151)
Defeat 250 NPC's on Nar Shadda - 3000 points. Once per Legacy.
Defeat R4-GL Nar Shadda world boss. - 3000 points. Once per Legacy.
I think that covers it. If I missed anything feel free to add to it.
Good luck Sabers!

Sabers,
It's that time again. Another week, another battle. After coming in third on Corellia we are on an upward swing. The ship is now parked over Makeb, and the invasion has begun. From what little I saw this morning, it looks like the guild that conquered it last week is not trying to defend their crown. There are many strong guilds in contention for this planet and we have a good fight ahead of us. As usual, the bonuses are listed below.
Crafting War Supplies: 500 - Repeatable
Warzones: 1000 - Repeatable
Defeat champion difficulty Imperial guard droids and turrets: 1000 - One time per Legacy
Kill 250 Random NPC's: 3000 - One time per Legacy
Toborro’s Courtyard Operation: 3000 - One time per Legacy
Heroic Missions: 1500 - One time each per character daily.
[Heroic 4] Savage Skies - Obtained from Daskarta in Frinn Mesa Western Camps
[HEROIC 2+] For the Record - Obtained from Archivist Varus (1903, –1750)
That should be it. You'll notice some of these bonuses are at 3x what they normally are, which makes it easier to hit your weekly total. For this week you need to hit 25000 points.
Good luck everyone!

Sabers,
It's that time again. We are now invading Corellia. As some of you predicted, they opened up four planets for conquest this week, or five if you count the two Balmorra's (since Imperial and Republic are separate instances).
The bonus points for this planet are pretty limited, but I feel it was the best chance we had for victory. Attacking Hoth would have put us against most of the guilds we just fought on Alderaan, and a little variety never hurts. Ilum was already pretty dominated by the time we arrived, and some massive pvp guilds were in contention there. As a casual guild, I didn't want to push everyone too hard. Balmorra has Veritas and Aesthesis in contention. So yeah, no point there. They are pretty much going to win each instance for themselves. Morale isn't going to be good if first place is unobtainable. Which leaves Corellia. The planet was pretty much wide open with only one guild having a small lead. As a bonus, the Imperial GSF guild Eclipse Squadron is invading. I've heard our GSF players talking about them, and a good rivalry sounds like fun.
On Corellia all GSF matches have a 2x reward which means 1000 points a match win or lose. There is also a 2000 point reward for every 50 medals you obtain in those matches. Both are repeatable. So flying is the name of the game this week.
For the quick and easy points, the black hole weekly mission gives 2000 points per character. This doesn't take much time at all and is possible at about level 48ish. When you have a little spare time, hit this one on every alt you can. It will add up.
There is also the standard kill 250 NPC's on Corellia once per legacy for 1000 points.
Everything else is the normal bonus, meaning warzones and flashpoints give 500 each.
Lastly, if you are feeling the pressure from this constant war and just want to chill a bit, I understand completely. If you want to help in a more relaxed fashion simply decorate your stronghold. For every stronghold you have (up to a total of four) that is completely decorated to 100%, you receive a 25% bonus to all conquest objectives. So that would mean that in GSF matches for Corellia instead of a 1000 points for each you would receive 1250. Every single time. Add another three complete strongholds and you've just doubled all your conquest points. Now, I know this is expensive and I'm not saying it's necessary. Every little bit helps though, and it's an option if you wish to take it.
I'm getting a little long winded here, so I will update with more information as necessary. Thanks again for all you do Sabers! Let's go kick the Imps off the planet. For the Republic!

All,
The invasion goes well, but we have slipped to 7th place today. I need everyone who can to please raise our point total. We have little chance for first place, but there are rewards for remaining in the top 10. We have a real shot of doing so, we just need more people focusing on the objectives. Hitting L and looking at the conquest tab (the second one) will show you what needs to be done for points. The following give the most points for minimal effort.
Killing 250 NPCs once and Heroics on Alderaan - This is the easiest and quickest thing you can do. Just pop down to Alderaan, head to the Traders Circle waypoint in the Far NE, and do the heroic there. In that time you should manage to kill 250 NPCs, and voila you just added thousands of points to our total. The heroics can be done daily. There is also a heroic that starts in Organa's palace that takes a little longer, but points are points. I believe there are two others as well. Unfortunately the 250 point objective can only be done once per legacy, but it is an easy 3000. Also killing 250 NPCs on Makeb will grant 1000.
Warzones - Since we are parked over Alderaan we get a 2x bonus to warzones. This means that any zone you play (win or lose) gains us a minimum of 1000 points. Turning in the weekly also gives thousands. This is also quickly accomplished.
Groupfinder Flashpoints - The same 2x bonus for Alderaan invasion applies here. Pick a random flashpoint from groupfinder and complete it. Finishing weekly flashpoint quests also grants points.
There are other ways such as crafting war supplies and the like, but the above maximize your time invested. Again, if you wish to see all of the available objectives just hit L and go to the second tab. Make sure you select Alderaan from the list on the right (it should default there) and look left to see all the things you can do to increase our score. This is all voluntary of course, and if you don't want to participate I completely understand. The game is about how you want to play, and nothing more. But if you want to get some great bonuses for our guild (and make an old fart proud), then I will see you at Alderaan.
Thanks Sabers. Return with Honor.

55 & Oricon |

Kal'arya is 80% through 54. I'm planning on getting her to 55 tonight. Once I'm there, I'd like to take her to Oricon and get my 156 tanking set.
How tough is the Oricon story quest line for a fresh 55, with a healer companion? I have a few pieces of gear with level 140 (Makeb) mods, some 146 rating gear (implants, earpiece, a relic, & 2 gear slots), and the rest are a mix of level 50-53 items.
Do you guys think I could handle the solo missions?
If not, would anyone be available/willing to tag along and assist?
Thanks in advance!
