So, while we (Cielle, Jâsper, Kallistratos, and Hanak) were on our way to do the Anti-Rad missions we ran into a yellow Imperial. Now some of you have not encountered a yellow before - it means they are able to be attacked because they are flagged for PvP. I'm unsure of who saw him first, but Ciel and I started attacking and called it over Teamspeak. We called in reinforcements - Iastan, Derecdaggard. After that we mentioned it in the Rubat Crystal chat. I'll let the photo below explain the rest...

After talking with members of Beacon of Hope and Republic Defenders, they have requested a council meeting to discuss a more solidified front of super awesomeness for the Republic.

They are planning on meeting sometime Friday. Details will be forthcoming.

In the meanwhile, we have created The Alliance channel. This will help in finding fillers for groups, ops, and PvP.

Hey guys! I'm a RL friend of Snowsilje. I just started playing again, so I made my trooper that I have been playing now.

Just a bit about myself. I'm a full time student. I was studying music for the past two years, and now am studying marine biology and will be majoring in that with my minor in music. I love animals, especially the marine kind. I like to casually game, and I'm not sure what aspects of the game I like yet, so I'm hoping to explore more sides of the game as I level more. =)

I was just inducted into saberwing this morning by Hanak. I spent the morning running HM flashpoints with Hanak & Lilly.

a bit about myself

I am a graphic designer currently working for a grand format digital printer. I am shift supervisor for their prepress department, but i work the overnight shift. So when most people in the US are playing I'm getting ready for work.

But when Hanak said Saberwing had member's in the EU also I became very interested in this guild.

Gaumon is my republic toon that was on Rubat Crystal and I ran pvp a lot on rubat. So I have seen Saberwing in pvp a bit and in the world. When I made the transfer to The Ebon Hawk, i decided to start grouping and running flashpoints again.

I like all aspects of swtor... pvp, pve, world events, guild events. does not mater to me. I like helping guild members out. Today i notice Hanak running a little low in health department during battle of ilum flashpoint and I just gave him one of my spare exotech fortitude stim because he was dying too quickly.

I am also an armormech and will gladly make people in the guild heavy or medium armors that i might have. need augments or kits hit me up.

I would like to say that Gaumon is geared okay for a former solo player. I am in full battlemaster except for my relics and off hand. all gear is augmented for the most part. i have my rataka belt & bracers, a BH implant and one rataka implant. currently with a stim I am around 19500 to 19800 health and roughly sitting at 1650 or so Aim. If there is room on a saturday night or sunday night I would love to get into an operations raid.

This is for real vampire fans who are fans of White-Wolf's "Vampire: The Masquerade" (the best RPG tabletop game ever in my opinion), not twilight fanatics.

So, during the server downtime yesterday, I did the only thing I could do - read about Star Wars. Plunging head-first down the internet rabbit hole, I ended up spending about an hour looking through the amazing concept art of Ralph McQuarrie.

I'm sure many of you are already familiar with McQuarrie's work, but for anyone who isn't - he's pretty much the guy who invented the visual esthetic of the Star Wars universe. If you pick any single visually cool thing from the original Star Wars movies - C3P0 and R2D2 wandering across an endless desert waste; Darth Vader's helmet and breathing apparatus; a shadowy, wretched hive of scum and villainy populated by a variety of species; the Millennium Falcon being drawn slowly in to the Death Star; X-wings rocketing down the trench run into a hail of fire - pretty much all of these visual moments were at one point the brainchild of McQuarrie. In fact, his early concept art purportedly played an important role in getting the first Star Wars movie made, convincing a room of studio execs that George Lucas's vision was worth pursuing.

Check it out if you have a few minutes - whether you've seen it before or not, his work is a fascinating piece of the history of Star Wars, and is really inspiring to boot:
