KOTOR MMO almost confirmed.

No, I got ya.

I was just commenting on the thought that it would be a MMO set in the Mass Effect universe to cash in on the release of Mass Effect. I was just saying Star Wars would be far more profitable than a new IP. Regardless of how well it is received. Even the mighty WoW is based on a proven multi game franchise.

Doing a bit more research, I don't buy that they bought that domain. I think someone else did and pointed it at the servers. People don't just switch registrars and stuff like that randomly.

There is a nice press release up on that site now. I would go read it. It basically says that they are entering into an agreement for a joint multimedia adventure...

My guess is a crossplatform PC, X360, PS3 KOTOR MMO. (Lucasarts seems to still dislike Nintendo, so I doubt the Wii will be in on this. Damnit.) Sign me up for the PC version if this is the case.

Behold our future.

Someone took a SS of the Lucasarts game forum list early in the morning a few days ago. The list included KOTOR III.

Of course, KOTOR III can also have online play or be an out right MMO. Who knows.

Perhaps I shall apply for this job, even though I am grossly underqualified for it. It didn't stop me from applying for the Project Director job SOE was advertising for SWG 3 years ago :p
