I'm not exactly jumping for joy on this one. From what it sounds like, crafting isn't going to be as customizable and unique as SWG's. Doesn't seem like luck/skill/materials will get you that 1% better DPS, but rather the end result will always be the same. I know details are scarce, but part of why I liked futzing with Wraith Squadron Weaponry was getting that max damage just one point higher than that sumbitch over at Sintari. I know, I know it's a different game, but the more that's revealed, I think the biggest description of SWG was that it was a sim. TOR will be a game. Hopefully there's enough sandbox left for those that liked to play in it!

I don't think we will ever see a game like SWG again. The disasterious mismanagement of the game has tanted all the great inovating things the game had going for it to the point everying thinks those things are toxic.

TOR is Guildwars with a star wars skin. It is what it is.
