Vent? TS? Mumble?

What Nis said is right. I just pay for the domain name and direct it here.

Underdark Wrote:Vent has more voice options: the ability to turn someone up or down based on how you hear them, and the user has the ability to turn themselves up or down as well. Vent also has chat, the ability to post global messages, pm people, drag users to different rooms, post websites and clickies. And most importantly communication is very clear.

High end guilds use vent, and prefer it over TS. Especially for raiding. That has to say something at the very least.

Our TS does all that...... Thinking TS caught up with vent as some point a year or two ago.

BTW, we aren't a top end, high class guild. We are ghetto as it gets. :mep:

I never liked using vent and am perfectly happy with the TS server we already have running.

TS3 and Mumble actually use the best codecs these days. Goonswarm (probably the biggest alliance in Eve uses Mumble.. which uses the same codecs as TS3.

I just installed some monitoring software on my phone to keep an eye on the server better, btw.
