They have yet to fill the community manager position and the web designer. So we are still a ways out from an announcement.

I'm tempted to apply for the job just for laughs.

It might actually be a Neverwinter Nights MMO they are looking for People that have worked with the nwn 2 tool sets. Look at the job postings I hope that they are doing both but not really satisfied with them using the nwn 2 engine its really not all that good to work with

They are using the Hero engine for the MMO. They are also using a non-bioware owned IP. I believe the NWN demo is just that, a demo of the persons ability. It is a tool they put out and is free to use by others. They also know it well so they can really gage a persons ability based on a NWN engine demo. I doubt they would still use that for any real production games at this point.

So my source at EA Mythic says that they've got an internal rumor going around that it actually is a KOTOR MMO and that its a pretty strong one at the moment. Some network engineers from Bioware are visiting looking for tips and what not into MMOs over at Mythic.

Nothing official or anything, but given the source and his judgment on these things, I might actually start to get my hopes up

To be fair to the NWN2 Engine, they just used that same engine for the Witcher. It was hard to tell it was even the same engine from NWN2, so it might not be all bad. The Witcher being an awesome game, albeit a bit cumbersome to learn the fighting at first.

Aye, it has its bugs, but its still a good game, and it looks really good too. All games have their issues when they come out, but ive had nothing game breaking in the Witcher... though i've not finished it yet and that might happen still lol. Darned LOTRO has my attention atm, at least until Age of Conan comes out... *drool* Both Syn and I have our comps now for that game. GO GO SLI 8800 GTX!! 64bit ftw!
