Guild ships will come...

...eventually.

DarthNhiilus: Are you going to implement housing and guild features (like guild banks, guild ships)?

Daniel Erickson: Guild banks are coming in Game Update 1.2 and like PvP, guild features are a priority for the development team with a strike team focused on nothing but top guild concerns and requests. Guild capital ships are a huge undertaking, though, so expect to see more quality of life style guild features roll out before you and your allies start building your destroyer....

Yeah, as much as I'd like to believe it, they said the same thing in SWG. Even showed one running once at a PAX or something. Never happened.

We didn't get a Corellian corvette, but we did get the Tier 7 ships made for 8 people.

I wonder whether guild ships will be tied to the "very large, long-term plans" for space combat that I keep hearing about.

I get those chills that tell me they have something awesome in store for us.

Question is if they are turning it towards the WoW fan boys... or the core and essence of starwars = xvt alike combat possibilities

I just hope their plans aren't too long-term... I'm impatient to hear more concrete details about what they're thinking for the future of the game

as much as it would be mega epicly awesome i doubt they'll make it a combat ship, more like a separate planet that only guild members can get to well ofc not a planet but a ship, and i hope they have separate hangers.. not just like "Jedi Consular Hangar" or "Trooper Hangar" and make it full customisable like changeable console colors would be nice, or customisable quarters stuff like that :p

I hope they integrate guild ship customization with the introduction further minigames (Pazaak, holo-chess, etc.). Then you could build your own Errant Venture space casino...
