The Avengers teaser trailer

Marvel is gay....DC is for a more mature audience Tongue

So your callin' Wolverine gay? Gotta problem with him bub?

And I guess Sup's will be gay to, seeing as they'll most likely turn to Disney/Marvel, I'm sure they'll throw the families a ton of money to get that character of DC/Warner can't negotiate a new contract that the families will like

Heh Heh Heh....Been there done that....read Avengers/JLA....Good story!

Back to the Avengers.....I am really looking forward to this movie after seeing the trailer at the end of CapAm. I think Marvel has done an excellent job with the Avengers storyline. It's one of the best linked movies franchise out there to date. The bringing of the avengers from a bunch of seperate movies was a brilliant move on the part of Marvel. They even had enough film time and space to fit in some second string avengers like Hawkeye and Black Widow.

I do wish that DC would have taken a hint and done the same with the JLA story, but DC is all over the place and fragmented out to get what it can with it's big 2 guys Bats and Sups without thinking about the JLA team. Still DC invest a lot more $$$ in the animated scene then Marvel when it comes to such things as the JLA and its big hitters. As well as the small screen with Smallville which was big hit considering how man seasons it lasted, I can't remember a Marvel show doing so well except maybe The Hulk.
We have no choice, Admiral Ghent! Our cruisers can't repel firepower of that magnitude!

I actually found this on the man of steel forum, here is the reply I got:

No one won the rights. And no one is taking the rights away from DC. Read up on the situation before you form an opinion. The heirs of Siegel and Shuster are only exercising their legal rights under copyright law to reclaim their family's power over their relatives work. That's all, the law changed and they can now do this. DC doesn't automatically lose Superman either, the situation is far more detailed than that. They will essentially own everything in Action Comics #1 (the original Action Comics #1) but 90% of everything we associate with Superman is the property of DC. Like the power to fly, Krypton, his villains, The Daily Planet and associated characters.

All that's going to happen in 2013 (not 2011) is that they will all sit down and work out a deal that lets the heirs get their rightful cut of the profits while DC gets to use that other 10%.

Wolverine is probably the only good one, and Dr. Doom is the only good villian but that's it Tongue

Heh yea JLA/Avengers was pretty good, have it on my laptop, and I can't wait for the Avengers movie, it'll be fantastic!

Never said I was correct with what I was saying Cill, just that it's what I'd heard, and it's also plastered all over the internet, so we'll have to wait and see, but at the moment, I think it's safe to say they won't be doing another Superman movie for a while after this next one

So, after the Advengers can super hero movies go the way of the western and 80's montage?

Seriously, why are they rebooting Superman and Spiderman a few years after they already rebooted them?

I'm still upset they took JLA off the air, it was a great show...

The only characters I really ever cared for was Batman, and the Punisher. Both were/are dark characters that live outside the law, and don't have crazy stupid web slinging powers.
