Scientifically speaking, if your ass is starving and there's nothing to eat but a steak.. You're gonna bloody well eat the steak. Instinct. Science tells us your instinct is to survive no matter what. Religion says that God made you in His image. Therefore, if God was starving, he'd eat the steak. No matter how you slice it, the logic of being a vegetarian is flawed.
Damn right Sonic, and did anyone see that Futurerama episode where the hippies trained a lion to eat tofu? Ya..... that lion was looking petty sickly and scrawny..........

Unless you have 5 stomachs and chew your cud, then yes, you are in fact an evolved vegetarian. Otherwise you're not.

Oh my God you're right, let me just eat meat now.
Haha, kidding, nice try though :p
Instinctively, we'll eat whatever we can to survive. I trust you've seen the movie Alive? So cannibalism would break the rules of almost all, including western religions as well. The scientific and the spiritual cannot be completely reconciled, that's a given.
There's no religion in this world that would have God as starving, God is completely self sustaining, so this hypothetical situation of yours is completely flawed, and you rely on Judeo Christian thought which pretty much discounts approximately 80% of the world population. Your views are good for you, and not for me, and I never attempted to convert anyone on this forum, nor did anyone ever try to convert me in my lifetime.

I do believe that humans were created vegitarian, we didn't start eating meat until after the flood, so if Star wants to be a vegitarian, let him. =P

That is so not true JC, God flooded the earth because man became evil and ate God's creatures. Of course the flood took care of all those creatures and man could no longer eat them. What do you think the cause of global warming is? That is right, eating meat. It is God getting upset with man once again and is going to flood the earth.

Far be it for me to try and convert anyone into anything religious. I don't like religion as a whole because the basis for religion is derived from the logic that a human being is right about something. Do I believe in God? Sure. Do I believe that there is one specific way to worship or believe in Him? No. Religion is a man-made ideology and I, for one, think it's stupid to construe one thing be true above all others because some person some thousands of years ago had some kind of epiphony that he was right and everyone else was wrong.

What the hell are you talking about sonic?
We are talking about meat eating transformers that god created in his image and you have to go on about the origins of religion. WTF?

Lol, actually I think it's pretty true arch.
And to continue the tangent, Sonic what you said makes aboslutely no sense. =P You should read C.S. Lewis...

Wouldn't reading C. S. Lewis and me being wowed into believing something he said constitute me following the same religion of C. S. Lewis and therefore creating the essence that his religion (the one he believes in) is right above all others? Yeah.. Not gonna happen. I'm human, also. For the most part... And so I don't expect everyone or anyone to say my word is law. That's not for me to decide. All I can say is how I feel, and give reason as to why I wouldn't try to convert anyone to a religious standpoint.
