3 weeks dissuades those who aren't in for the long haul.

I like the app / trial period suggestions ... we don't want just any scrub . Talent, courage , skill , the ability to not suck . An no massive slackers that are here for a week then gone never to be seen again .

Quality over quantity . Sure you could have 100 members on a raid . but if only 10 outa those 100 have a clue ... then 90 dead people just power leveled the raid boss .... those are some brutal and rough times . Zerging never works . Friends don't let friends zerg ... unless they are carrying the biggest weapon on the block an know what they are doing . then you call it organized mayhem ^.

You know, some people that are great at playing a game just aren't people worth haging with. Others can suck at a game but are fine to hang with. I don't want to get too elitist about this. If they are fun to play with, then sure, why not.

My only exception would be, well, people like that Nulu guy. Everytime he opened his mouth, God killed a kitten. Please, think of the kittens.

I totally don't want to get stuck playing with someone like Sidra(sp?) again though. You remember Snogglebot's wife in EQ2, Mep.

Looks good D'hors. I have some ideas for a change or two here or there if you are willing. About the blurb from me... I've talked to Shadow about our motto, and he thinks that it would be interesting to hear everyone's thoughts on it. I am in agreement. Once we find out, we can take the best of those and make the blurb from that. I'll be making a new post related this shortly.

Oh, and about recruitment, I'm on the same page as everyone else. Trail period, and if they mesh then great. We've never been a big group, but quality over quantity has worked for us so far. Three weeks hasn't failed us yet.

I sucked and JK2 and XvT etc, but I had a blast playing with all of you and eventually meshed. So I do think Meps train of thought would work.

No one is going to be exceptional at the game on day 1. At first, chemistry should be weighed a bit more than ability.
